Screening Plagiarism
At TAWAZUN: Jurnal Multidisiplin, we uphold the highest standards of academic integrity and originality. Plagiarism in any form is considered a serious offense, and we are committed to maintaining the quality and integrity of our publication.
To ensure the originality of submissions, all manuscripts undergo a thorough screening process for plagiarism using industry-standard tools and practices. Authors are expected to submit original work that has not been published elsewhere and properly cite any sources used in their research.
Types of Plagiarism
- Verbatim Plagiarism: Copying someone else's work word-for-word without proper attribution.
- Paraphrasing Plagiarism: Rewriting someone else's work without proper citation.
- Mosaic Plagiarism: Mixing and matching phrases from various sources without proper attribution.
- Self-Plagiarism: Reusing one's own previously published work without proper acknowledgment.
Screening Process
- Upon submission, manuscripts are initially screened by our editorial team to identify any potential cases of plagiarism.
- Submissions passing the initial screening are then subjected to a more rigorous plagiarism check using specialized software.
- Editors review the plagiarism report and assess the extent of any detected plagiarism.
- Authors will be notified if any instances of plagiarism are found and given an opportunity to address the issues.
- In cases of severe plagiarism or repeated offenses, submissions may be rejected outright or authors may face further consequences as per our editorial policies.
